Why do I need to enrol for classes?
As part of my inclusion in the Register of Exercise Professionals, I have a duty of care to ensure that your Pilates class is as safe and enjoyable as it can be for you. In order for me to be able to do that I need you to provide me with some basic information. I also provide you with the terms and conditions of joining so that you know what to expect from your Pilates class.
The information you give me will include your medical history so that when I’m teaching you, I am aware of any limitations you may have and will give you guidance about whether you should consult with your GP before starting to exercise. It tells me a little bit about your exercise habits and any fitness goals that you might be trying to achieve whilst you are practicing Pilates.
The payment, refund, and holiday policies are clearly explained so that you know what to expect when you join. It also gives you information about the class content.
If you are joining a group class, would you please download an enrolment form from here, complete it and return it to me at your first class.
If you would like to book one to one private tuition, please download the enrolment form from here
If you have had a recent operation, are pregnant or have recently given birth, you may need a medical clearance form to take to your GP before starting classes. You can download one from here. Most GP’s will charge for this service.
All the information that you supply will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed to anyone other than your instructor.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.
